Little League Baseball

Baseball: Many leagues graduate t-ball players to a division with modified baseball rules where the coach is the pitcher. As the players mature, they work their way up through the Little League baseball divisions to "Majors" and eventually to the 90-foot programs of "Seniors" and "Big League."

T-Ball: Most leagues start with t-ball for boys and girls beginning at age 4.

Little League Softball

Girls Softball: Many leagues offer girls only softball programs beginning after T-Ball. Younger players focus on having fun with their friends and learning the basics. As the girls get older, they learn “Fastpitch” preparing them for the style of softball played in most high schools and colleges.

T-Ball: Most leagues start with t-ball for boys and girls beginning at age 4.

Challenger Division

Challenger: Most Districts offer the Challenger Division that was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school.

Teams are set up according to abilities, rather than age, and can include as many as 15-20 players.

PLAYERS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THEIR LOCAL LEAGUE AT ANY AGE!!

Each local Little League operates within its own unique geographic boundary under the rules of Little League Baseball, Inc.. Leagues are grouped into Districts, which help with administration and All-Star tournaments. Each league maintains its own website, registration procedures, and local policies.
